The Joy of Movement

Meg's training philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that movement should be an engaging exploration, optimizing not just physical function but also the essence of being human. Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, Meg's approach encompasses a fusion of methodologies that celebrate the diverse capabilities of the human body. Functional Range Systems form the cornerstone of her mobility techniques, promoting fluidity and expanded range of motion. Meanwhile, Animal Flow sparks her warm-up routines, encouraging clients to rediscover the playful aspect of movement.

With a background in Division 1 athletics and proficiency in barbell skills, Meg seamlessly integrates strength training into her programming, providing a sturdy foundation for her clients. However, she doesn't confine herself to traditional methods; instead, she embraces hybrid modalities such as kettlebells and functional equipment to add dynamic movements to workouts.  By breaking free from the confines of the industrial construct, Meg aims to reconnect individuals with their innate human nature, fostering an environment where movement is synonymous with joy and self-expression.

TESTIMONIALS

"I’ve always wanted to train with Meghan ever since I started following her on Instagram. [...]
[...] If you thought Meghan was a good trainer virtually, just wait until you train with her in person! Not only do you get an amazing hands on experience, you also have a blast while doing it! She truly wants to make sure you are doing a movement correctly from start to finish so you don’t hurt yourself at any point. [...] It’s those small things she sees that makes her such a great trainer. [...]
She makes you laugh, sweat and sometimes even dance! I can’t thank her enough for what she’s taught me this year and for giving me the opportunity to train with her."

“I met Meghan about a year ago with no clue on how to swing, clean, or snatch a kettlebell efficiently. But, with an open mind and hunger to get better, I was able to apply the expertise steps that Meghan set for me to become more efficient with these movements.

Now, here I am, a year later getting ready to take on the StrongFirst Certification this upcoming December (4 months away)

Thanks Coach Meg! Let’s keep working!”

“How can one expect to lead, coach and motivate their clients if they’re not willing to continually learn and improve themselves? Shout out to my coach Meghan Hayden for her kettlebell experience and expertise. It was all Turkish Get Ups yesterday capped off with some fun animal flow”

"I’ve played sports for 30+ years with all sorts of elite athletes and coaches at various stages of my life, and no doubt, Meghan is one of the best movement coaches in the country. My two favorite things about working with Meghan are that she’s a true teacher and approaches each engagement with an incredible amount of preparation.

Practice Meghan’s methods intently for a few months and watch your body transform."

"Finding Meg during quarantine was one of the best things that has ever happened to me! After a back and hip injury years ago, I had avoided so many things (kettlebells, burpees, etc.) and was extremely picky. Meghan got me pain-free, but have encouraged me to try things I thought were impossible. I am endlessly grateful and so psyched for 2021 witchu."

Mel

“Meghan is the reason I'm stronger at 30 than I was as a D1 athlete in college. She helped me get pain-free after my second back surgery and break down all of my mental barriers around weightlifting with a chronic injury. Movement is medicine, and Meghan's understanding of what my body needed was incredible.”
